Tuesday, October 13th, I received a reply from The Zack Company, a publishing house who showed interest in The Masquerade Play. Now it’s been a rat race to polish up the first chapter and write one of those dreaded full synopsis. I loathe writing a synopsis. It means I have to have my thought’s organized! The book has just about written itself with a little push from my beloved Erin, who by the way has been incredibly ill. It must ne the start of Flu Season. So I’ve spent the last few days tidying up the synopsis in hopes of having it fleshed out by Monday or Tuesday. Dumping it in the pipe by Wednesday and hopefully hearing a reply within a month. Andrew was quick enough to look over the query letter so here’s to hoping he glances over the requested sample chapter just as fast.
Superman/ Batman: Public Enemies

So the girlfriend, the kidd-o and I all watched the new DC animated film, Superman/ Batman: Public Enemies. Now this movie is based on the first six issues of the DC Comic, Superman/ Batman. Now granted this movie differs from the comic but not by much. I don’t wish to give to much away here but the mobie has some awesome moments.

From Superman vs. Metallo (the cyborg with the Kryptonite heart) to Lex Luthor using his classic green power suit and the huge Kryptonite meteor heading towards Earth, The World’s Finest (Superman & Batman) throw down with Hawkman and Shazam! Where Shazam has the coolest fake out on Batman, reverting back to the young boy, Billy Batson… Batman flips out that he’s just a boy, picking him up, asking him to say something and with a grin, Billy utters the magic word, “Shazam!” knocking Batman back!
Even the cast of supporting characters from Powergirl to Bane and Mongrul!
An excellent adventure up there with such DC animated films such as Green Lantern and Superman: Doomsday.
I support Wonder Woman

Okay, so let me explain this as best as possible! In the mid 80’s DC Comics revamped a lot of their comic series with a new numbering system. Meaning Superman saw a brand new first issue in 1986! Well, most of the big DC characters have returned to their original numbering. Batman was never touched, Supeman returned to his old number scheme and so is on Superman issue number 691 today!

Send your postcards in today!
Well Wonder Woman has yet to change over. Issue number 45 of her current run which is due in a few months will be her 600th comic book! Well fan out cry has been incredible and today DC Comics offered a deal… If tehy can get 600 or more post cards with a simple 600 written on them mailed to their office by the month of issue 45, they will change her numbering back to the original series order.
So I’m implurrnig every who can afford the price of a stamp to pitch in. There’s no reason why only two of the three main DC Characters should only be permitted to keep their original order count!
Good Morning!
